I didn't even get to see the entire thing. It's only 10 minutes. Now, I can't even get my money back. So maybe this isn't a five star film..
I, on the other hand love a good unsolicited laugh, and I'm no pushover for a laugh.. This movie is really funny, with an obvious all star cast who seem to have made this film out of the love for the story..

The Disaster Artist mostly avoids this pitfall. The Disaster Artist traces the rise of mysterious and eccentric actor and filmmaker Tommy Wiseau and his tumultuous friendship with the much younger Greg Sestero.
The two decide to move to Los Angeles and pursue acting careers. Frustrated by lack of forward momentum, Wiseau decides to write, produce, and direct his own film starring Greg and himself.
The project begins with promise, but things quickly go south as it becomes apparent Wiseau has more confidence than skill or experience. Ironically, what he produces is so bad it goes down in history as one of the worst films ever made.
Real-life brothers Greg and James Franco had genuine chemistry on screen, but James is clearly the stronger actor of the two and fully committed himself to the role.
Wiseau is fascinating because he wants all the accolades of stardom and celebrity, without doing any of the work.
He thinks he can simply buy his way into infamy, and he actually succeeds, though not in the way he intended. The audience wants to see why the movie is so bad, and learn the secrets of its mysterious creator.
The message of the movie is that entertaining people, even with a bad movie, is redeeming. Despite all the heartache, wasted time, and abuse, Wiseau was able to bring joy to his audience, and we want him to succeed because we all feel like the underdog and all have dreams of creating something other people will appreciate.
When i first saw the trailer to this movie, I honestly thought it was going to be a big lame waste. My boyfriend was the one who wanted to see it, but I was really hesitant on it.
It kept popping up on my prime list and I kept reminding him it was a movie he wanted to see, since i know with prime stuff comes and goes often and if he didnt see it he may lose the chance to watch it for free, since i felt it probably wasnt worth spending money on it.
I honestly am going to add it to my digital collection of movies. We finally got the chance to watch it and in all honesty I wish I had seen this in the theater.
Since watching it I have rewatched it four times already. My boyfriend even came home from work catching me watching it for the 3rd time, and poked fun at me for not wanting to watch it to begin with and here i was watching it again.
I never knew of the original and never heard of it. But in all honestly I am glad this one was made because they made a great movie breaking down the history of the two main actors story and how the film "The Room" came to be.
Both Franco brothers nailed the acting for it. My boyfriend and I can not help but randomly quote this movie out of no where for no particular reason, and we both bust out with laughter.
Also it wasnt until the 4th time watching it that I saw there was a cut scene at the end. I was doing odds and ends while i left the music during the credits go, so if you like this movie while watching it, i highly suggest watching the after credits scene.
I think being familiar with the real story helped me enjoy the movie more.
