Upon seeing this for the first time, I was blown away with the size and weight of the box, It was a huge experience unboxing. Once you start building the structural engineering in this build is so impressive, a lot of time went into making this set.

Micky6 So my build started when I bought the the 20th anniversary Slave 1 and was hooked, I had mountains of Lego as a kid but that stopped until last year.
So after months of trying to justify a way of paying this amount I finally came to the conclusion that this would actually be a legacy for my grandkids when they visited as they would always remember Grandad with the massive spaceship made of bricks so that swayed me to get it plus unexpectedly I received a large bonus from work.
Opening the Ikea size box was just the start of one of the best weeks in my life. I read most of the reviews on here before hand so decided to take my time and enjoy the build as was probably never do this again.
Took me about 30 hours to piece together over 7 days, no major problems at all and no bricks missing. Instructions were faultless and whilst I made a couple of mistakes was easy to find and rectify.

The box itself is gorgeous! The boxes inside containing the lego pieces have an amazing Star Destroyer design. The building process is not for the impatient or faint-hearted builders.
This will definitely take awhile but extremely rewarding at the end. Ensure that you apply a lot of pressure on your Lego's while building and that you pay very close attention to detail as some parts can get confusing at first glance.
What seemed problematic for me was the back part with the engines but the other sections were not as difficult. As for the pricing for this beauty was not a big deal.

And the reason the falcon has an interior in the first place is because it has so many famous and iconic scenes that took place in it.

October 16th, Great display piece. I was debating between this or the millennium falcon, which I am glad I chose the Star Destroyer! I am intended to use as display piece and it's studier then I thought.
I could carry it up my stairs and down with no sweat nor pieces breaking off. Some people complain about not having interiors, but I took this as an advantage and installed some LED light strip inside.

Of course, the higher price points of Hoth and the DS might make them rarer and better investments. However, given this is the 3rd?
What do you guys think? What about , the Death Star 2? We are not sure if Y-Wing is retired. We checked multiple sources and this set seems like still available.

I thught it had been reclassified as a Master Builder set like Cloud City? Yeh long gone dude. Sandcrawler now too. The TIE and Hoth set are not retired yet please correct your mistake.
