The premiere of the futuristic drama about an alien-occupied L. First up: Will Sullivan attempts a daring rescue while Katie, his wife, tries to help a relative in need.
In other events, a job opportunity threatens to divide the family. Will faces unforeseen challenges on his first day at his new job; Katie receives her first assignment; Maddie reconnects with an old acquaintance; and Carlos pays the price for Will's collaboration.
Katie's first mission forces her to question her commitment to the cause; Will's search for Geronimo doesn't sit well with the resistance; and Bram's girlfriend shares a secret with him.
Will earns the respect of his colleagues; a resistance attack brings the Bowman family together; and Maddie finds a new job. Geronimo's identity is revealed; Will begins to question Katie's loyalties; Bram finds his way into a secret world; and Snyder sees an opportunity to improve his standing.

That was a highly entertaining hour of television that introduced a world, its main characters, and the basic storylines going forward while never overwhelming the audience From executive producers Carlton Cuse Lost and Ryan Condal, the series plays on the tension between protecting your family and rising up against oppressive invaders and what happens when husband and wife find themselves on different sides of that line.
All the pieces are there for Colony to become an exploration of imperialism and what happens when America becomes the object of its own decades-long foreign policy, but Cuse and Condal give zero hints of ever moving them into place.
This is the day after tomorrow, with the pop culture of our present and past still lingering in the background and armed drones patrolling the streets like big brother with a hair trigger.
