I'd heard that Dario Argento's more recent stuff wasn't very good. I wasn't prepared for Dario Argento forgetting basic stuff about filmmaking and making something abjectly terrible.

It's incredible to think that this was the same person who directed Suspiria. When did he turn into Ed Wood? The acting is almost uniformly terrible in this movie, and the main culprit is Asia Argento.

I mean, I wouldn't consider Suspiria and Inferno to be clinics in the craft, but at least in those you got the impression that the people you were watching were professionals.
